One long-time reader of my posts, and now a dear friend, wrote this about the last New Moon gathering on November 18. Please enjoy!
New Moon Under the Banyan Tree
By Karen LeGrande
The beauty of the tree pleases the soul
as the breeze swirls gently in the warm night air
and carries on its wings the song it sings
of silence between the noise.
The new moon winks a celestial nod
to the Gods below the tree
in awe of their journey
through the lands of Oz,
to take a deep breath
in the magic of being.
